Blair Morgan-Livingston believes in the importance of helping individuals seeking to show up authentically in all parts of their lives. Her kindness and compassion shows through her work by guiding adults through self-discovery and growth. Blair is a welcoming advocate for people of all genders, family structures and orientations. Her approach to counseling is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and she is trained in EMDR. Her expertise includes depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and grief and loss. She brings a sex positive lens to her work and has much experience working with the LGBTQ community. Blair is also able to provide comfort and understanding while supporting people through a crisis. Additionally, she is trained in providing clinical supervision.
Born and raised in Seattle, Blair spent ten years in San Francisco where she earned her BA in psychology from the University of San Francisco, followed by her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Francisco State University. Blair is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LF 60207403). Blair has taken a unique path in her counseling career supporting mental health and wellness of individuals in community-based organizations, school communities and in hospital settings. She continues her growth as a counselor on a daily basis by learning directly from clients, consulting with colleagues at Seattle Family Support, LLC, and participating in consultation through EMDR Consulting.
